Privacy - ORBIT Demo
Effective: 16 October 2026. Copyright JLR Dev 2026.
This page describes exactly what the ORBIT click-through demo does with data. It matches the code in index.html: one self-contained file, no backend, no analytics, no third-party requests.
- Nothing leaves your device. The demo makes zero network requests. There is no server, no tracking and no cookies.
- Entries live on your phone only. Saved violations and the offline queue are kept in your browser's own local storage (
orbit_demo_queue). Clearing the browser's site data removes them. Nothing is sent to any Google Sheet, and nothing reaches Onze Rust Primary School or JLR Dev.
- All people are made up. Every learner, staff member and violation in this demo is synthetic data for demonstration. The only real name is the school contact (Jasper Herbst, administrator) shown so the admin role can be tried. No real learner records appear anywhere.
- Demo PINs are public on purpose. The PINs shown next to each name exist only to try the sign-in screen. In the real app each person sets a secret PIN nobody else sees.
- No parent contact details exist in this demo and none are collected.
